The international Bobritsa Film Festival is an annual event held in our village since 2018, under the aegis of the Ukrainian State Film Agency and other sponsors.
The program of each festival includes Ukrainian and foreign films picked for the competition, new Ukrainian films, workshops and various competitions. Film viewing takes place at the Bobritsa house of culture, as well as on an open-air lawn.

The village was named after the word “bober” (beaver) as nearby rivers used to house large numbers of these animals. One of the local rivers was also named Bobritsa (previously, this river used to be called Sviatets).
